Our Team

Dr. Florence Griffith is originally from Vichy, France. She came to Rosenberg, Texas after graduating high school in 1999 as a Rotary Exchange Student and fell in love with both her husband and Texas.

After her exchange year, she went back to her hometown and went to school there to study opticianry. She graduated with a BTS Opticien-lunetier with great honor from the Lycee Valery Larbaud. As she was completing her externship, she realized that she wanted to continue her studies and become an optometrist.

Dr. Griffith got her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from the University of Houston and then her Doctorate of Optometry summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

 Dr. Griffith has been practicing optometry for the last 16 year years and is the owner of Sealy Family Eyecare since 2011. 
​
She enjoys live music, listening to audio books and spending time with her three kids and husband. She also loves watching her children being on stage either singing or acting. In her spare time, you can find her either on her peloton bike, tread or the peloton app.
